This was another one of those album covers that allowed freedom to the designer because there was no star breathing down your neck, and it was so low-budget that we couldn't even afford more than two colors, but I think for it's time (1979) it was quite a surprising image, evocative of an earlier jazzier epoch, but part of the modern world. Music business designers miss those beautiful 12" squares since the advent of the CD!
