Hiroshima was a rock and roll band comprised of Asian-Americans and whites and maybe (I'm not sure) blacks, but their name was such an incredibly powerful one that it didn't seem possible to avoid reference to it in designing the cover. The image simply felt right- haunting, eerie, tragic and worked beautifully with the word "Hiroshima." Did it echo the spirit of the band or its music? Not so sure.
