I proudly present the logo which won my first Art Director's Award in 1968. Stoy was a small record label, whose name was a nonsense word invented by the company's owner. It struck me funny as the name of anything, so I scribbled a number of sketches with "tongue in cheek" monumentalism, then I saw the light. It was one of those rare times when you discover the solution to a problem, rather than a solution.
