This was the most fun you can have in an advertising agency and still call it "work." Harpers wanted to do a light-hearted piece about the seven deadly sins. They assigned one sin to each of seven different ad agencies, asking for an actual persuasive ad for the commission of that sin. "Make that sin as appealing as you would any other product," they said. We drew "sloth" (my favorite sin). We realized that if everyone on earth since the beginning of time was too lazy to do anything whatsoever, "we'd still be in paradise." A bit convoluted as a piece of logic, but a truly fun execution.
